i normally wouldnt type this junk, but i must vent. i was delivered the ultimate dis at work today. the powers that be assigned my ex-boss' old laptop to me after he left the company, forcing me to give up my already crapyy desktop for an even crappier laptop. i swear, they might as well slap me in the face with a fish. how the heck am i supposed to do anything productive if i cant even get outlook to bring itself forward from under the terminal emulations without slowdown.

apparently the new boss thinks the 'mobility' of a laptop is an increase in status and stature, but it's more like now i can be on call all the time without pay since i have a 'laptop' and when i'm actually docked. i can be really unproductive because the processor is trying puke its guts out opening an excel spreadsheet.
